Hi there, and welcome to Mommy Daddy Blog! We’re glad you could stop by! We had so much fun last year that we absolutely couldn’t miss out on this year’s Ultimate Blog Party! So allow us to introduce ourselves…
We are Sheena (aka “Mommy”) and Greg (aka “Daddy”), and together we make up Mommy Daddy Blog! We registered this domain before we even decided to start trying to have a child. We enjoyed the idea of creating a blog where we both would share our perspectives for when we would eventually become first time parents. But, little did we know, we ended up conceiving just three months later!
It wouldn’t be until Sheena was four months along that we’d find out that we were pregnant with our first child, Boogie! Upon finding out the wonderful news, we launched Mommy Daddy Blog on December 19th, 2007! From then until the end of April, we chronicled our pregnancy. Then on April 26th, 2008, Boogie was born!
Life definitely changed for the both us with the addition of a new member to our family, and we try to chronicle most of it here on Mommy Daddy Blog. Here are a few of our favorite posts from the pregnancy and birth:
