5 Reasons Why Daddy Should Buy Baby Clothes

Scrapped by Daddy on January 4, 2008 – 11:34 pm -

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to Mommy Daddy Blog. We wouldn't want you to miss out on our updates or giveaways ;-)! Thanks for visiting!

Mommy and I constantly bump heads over the types of baby clothes we should buy for Jayden. She wants to buy him the “cutesy”-type baby clothes, while I want to buy him the “rough and rugged”-type baby clothes; you know, the type of clothes that shows that he actually has a sack. Then just the other day it hit me! I came across something that would ultimately strengthen my argument to the point that it could even kick Chuck Norris’ ass! I present to you, 5 reasons why Daddy should buy baby clothes:

Daddy's Lil' Squirt Baby T-Shirt
Are You My Daddy Baby T-Shirt
My Pee-Pee Is Bigger Than Yours Baby T-Shirt
Now That I'm Safe I'm Pro-Choice Baby T-Shirt
I Can Kick Your Baby's Ass Baby T-Shirt

Yep, I pretty much have her beat! Don’t you think?

(Disclaimer: I found these pictures on a blog, whose owner received them through an e-mail forward, whose sender apparently got them from TShirtHell.com. I claim no ownership of these pictures.)

I Really Want a MomAgenda!

Scrapped by Mommy on December 29, 2007 – 6:22 pm -

Edited 1/7/08: If you missed out on the giveaway at PJ Mommy, you have a chance to win a momAgenda over at An Island Life. There will be 5 lucky winners. Giveaway ends January 9th!

Mom AgendaI’ve heard nothing but great things about the momAgenda organizer and I am itching to get my hands on one! I’m currently making lists and to-dos in a basic spiral notebook, how tacky, I know! With the baby on the way and plenty more doctor visits ahead, plus baby shower planning, I’m going to need it! And it’s just my luck that PJ Mommy is giving away two of them! I don’t even care which color I receive as long as I win, so wish me luck and enter as well! The giveaway ends January 5th!

My Maternity Wear Choices

Scrapped by Mommy on December 24, 2007 – 12:05 pm -

It’s about time I start shopping for maternity wear. I’ve started to burst out of my jeans. I do have a few pairs of jeans that I purchased 2 years ago that were too big and now they mysteriously fit, lol, but for how long? Right now I count on my lounge and yoga pants since they stretch and are more comfortable than jeans. Below are some of my top maternity wear choices.

Kiki’s Fashions - super cute shirts and dresses. I can’t fit any of their bottoms, they’re made for larger people and the inseams are short. Kiki’s Fashions is the Forever21 of maternity wear! Some of the shirts you can wear even if you aren’t pregnant.

GAP and Old Navy - stretchy maternity jeans in extended inseams! I have long legs so a 34 inseam is a must! I take back Old Navy! I tried on the XS maternity jeans and they were too big in the hips and butt! I may try ordering from GAP as their sizes run smaller. My Maternity Wear Choices mommydaddyblog.com

[bump] - cute “baby under manufacturing process” shirts for mom and dad! Gotta love novelty items!

B-Buckles - stylish belt buckles that will allow me to continue wearing some of my jeans!

Belly Dance Maternity - Very cute designer clothing, plenty of choices in the outlet section! I love a good bargain!

I’m also looking for other maternity products that I can review! Have anything in mind, contact me!

Cariboo Folding Bassinet

Scrapped by Mommy on December 20, 2007 – 12:00 pm -

cariboo folding bassinetWhile browsing online for baby gear, I stumbled upon the Cariboo Folding Bassinet. We both agree that this bassinet is something that we will need. We will be moving after baby JT arrives so we won’t be setting up nursery decor and furniture until we get settled into our new place. When we get settled in our new place we can keep the bassinet in our bedroom until he gets used to sleeping in a crib. Since the bassinet folds flat, we can take the bassinet along with us when we are visiting family. When he gets older we can use the bassinet for toy and linen storage! We are unsure of the nursery theme so we’d probably go with the white with teak finish. For those who enjoy funky retro patterns, Baby Star offers the Cariboo Folding Bassinet in patterns exclusively made for their store. For the creative ones out there, decorate the white bassinet to match your nursery decor!
