There are often two types of music in my car at any given time: (1) “me” music and (2) “kid” music. As a mom of four little ones, the “me” music is rarely heard (unless I am driving by myself) since the “kid” music is always on!  Can anyone else relate?

Ninety percent of bathtime at our house is peaceful. The other ten percent is made up of the time it takes to wash Allie Grace’s hair. The water being poured over her face is no issue what-so-ever, it’s the thought of her having shampoo in her hair and it possibly getting in her eyes, that tends to completely freak her out. I’ve tried ideas like using my hand to sheild her eyes and using a washcloth to cover her eyes during the process, but it’s still a fight.

I recently tested out an item called, Lil Rinser, which is a bath item to help protect children’s eyes from shampoo and water. You basically hold the “hat” as Grace calls it at your child’s hairline and it helps the water to run down their backs and not in their face. The soft rim inside makes is fit tight to the child’s head but seems to also make it more comfortable. The best part is, Allie Grace thinks it hilarious to use!
