Happy Father’s Day My Greggie Poo
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to Mommy Daddy Blog. We wouldn't want you to miss out on our updates or giveaways ;-)! Thanks for visiting!
Today is a very special day for a very special man in my life, Hounz, I mean Greg! Today Greg will be celebrating his very first Father’s Day. Although I’m not showing any signs, I think that I’m actually just as excited about Father’s Day as he is because today will be the first Father’s Day that I’ll get to celebrate too.
Some of you’ve mentioned in the Father’s Day giveaway post, growing up in “broken” homes. From 0 to age 5, I’ve only seen my father a handful of times. I can remember him putting in SOME of the money to buy me a coat, dropping off a $5 bag of Christmas candy, buying me a Game Boy when I asked for a Game Gear, and giving my mother a gallon of milk when she was low on money.
The love that Greg shows for our little man makes up for all of those years that I went through fatherless. I cannot piece together the words to express how fluffy I feel when Greg and Jayden are interacting with each other. I cannot piece together the words to express how fluffy I feel when Greg talks about what he wants for Jayden’s future. Greg deprives himself of sleep to support his family. His ultimate goal is to be able to work from home to be with us. And I don’t have a doubt in my mind that his goal will become reality.
As I type this, Greg and Jayden are watching a movie and I am kind of rushing so that Greg doesn’t see this! He’s so nosey! He’s been tip toeing around the house trying to find his Father’s Day gifts for the past couple of days. I just had to bat him away so that I can get this posted, now Jayden’s crying!
This is a surprise gone bad, lol!
I better stop toying with his emotions. I told him his gift isn’t here yet!
Happy Father’s Day to my Greggie Poo and all of the wonderful Father’s out there. You guys kick major booty!

A gift that can’t be refused!
I’ve been meaning to ask…
“Dude, I can see my reflection in your shoes!”
“Sir, do you have the time?” “Why yes I do!”
