In our home we’ve always used washable cloths for wiping sticky hands and faces at the table. It just makes sense when you have three little messy eaters! I can’t imagine the amount of paper napkins we would have gone through in the last 6 years. Lately though, I was wishing for some prettier options. Continue Reading →

My 6 year-old daughter Providence has recently read the “Stone Soup” story for the first time. She was enthralled, and has since wanted it to be read, re-read, and even played. I knew when I found Potting Shed Creations stone soup kit that it would be well received. This kit comes in a smart tin with Continue Reading →

I love me some reusable bags. I especially love them for grocery shopping, for the obvious waste reduction reasons but also because they are so much more comfortable to lug around and each bag typically holds more than their tiny plastic counter part. When I unload the car it’s with as little trips as possible. Continue Reading →
Weeks ago while perusing the internet for eco-friendly lovelies to curate my Wishpot with, I fell in love with a little shop called, Green Rainbow Shop. Thanks to Role Mommy, Jayden had the oppurtunity to receive some plush toys from MiYim, a company that specializes in plush toys and acessories made with certifed organic and natural cotton. Jayden received the Baby Ben Plush Frog from the Fairytale Plush collection and a cute bear (which Greg keeps calling a monkey) from MiYim’s new “My Natural” line. The toys came in boxes made of recycled materials. I was impressed to see that the toys were attached to the boxes using string which was more than likely to be made from organic cotton. This made it a heck of Continue Reading →
