We were sent a Pteradactyl Hatchling for Boogie to play with. It’s so cute! I grew up in the era of Furby, so this little miniature dinosaur brought back memories. It’s physical design is very realistic. When he comes to life and lets out his little roars, you can’t help but to love him. When we first introduced Boogie to the Pteradactyl Hatchling, he gave it the side eye! The looks that Boogie gave this little critter were priceless. He’s since warmed up to him. He even imitates his roars. The Pteradactyl is now on sale for $9.59 and the Continue Reading →

We were given the opportunity to review the Mini Kick scooter. At first, I wasn’t sure if Boogie would be able to ride it. When told that children younger than 3 years of age were able to get the award winning scooter cruisin’, I decided to put it to the test. When it arrived, he frantically waited for us to snap the handlebar into the kickboard. As soon as we handed it over, he hopped on and scooted off! It was so much fun watching him go. He’s never rode a bike or scooter prior to the Mini Kick. Kids Continue Reading →

The Musical Sit ‘N Spin has become a favorite in our household. Boogie absolutely loves it. For the first few weeks, he did nothing but dance to the music. He’d tap the top of the wheel and start spinning in circles with his hands waving in the air. Greg and I even join in, it’s like an everyday ritual. If we tell him to turn on the music or if we hum any of the six songs, he’ll run to his Musical Sit ‘N Spin and DJ for us. Just yesterday he actually started using it for its spinning feature. How many times have you tried to grab your baby’s attention by desperately waving your hands in the air while making kooky sounds? I know I’ve had plenty of those moments. I even had Greg stand behind me making funny faces to get Boogie to look at the camera. The ShutterBuddy is an innovative products used to grab an infant’s attention during a photoshoot. It’s checkboard pattern grabs and holds an infant’s attention long enough to capture the perfect shot. The ShutterBuddy works well with infants up to 9 months of age and fits over the lens of most digital Continue Reading →

Because I cannot stop living in the past, I decided to decorate our play area using New Super Mario Wall Graphics from Think Geek. I figured if I put them there, I could always say that they are there for Boogie, when they are really for my nostalgic pleasure. Remember Boogie’s first birthday ? The New Super Mario Wall Graphics are awesome. They really jazz up the play area without having to paint. I think Boogie’s going to grow to love them just as much as his mama. At Think Geek, you will find all kinds of gadgets and trinkets Continue Reading →

There’s nothing like a good ‘ol holiday movie to help spread holiday cheer. We were sent a review copy of Gotta Catch Santa Claus, which featured William Shatner as the voice of Santa. I popped in the DVD to see if Boogie would be interested in watching. During the movie, I was able to assemble a toy storage unit without him getting in to too much. He grabbed some of the pieces and sat comfortably in his little chair watching the movie. Whenever they got to jammin’, Boogie couldn’t help but to hop out of his seat to join in. Continue Reading →

I know y’all are tired of hearing about eczema, but it is something we struggle with every day. I know that Boogie “growing out of it” won’t exactly end our eczema trials. Since both Greg and I have sensitive skin and allergies, it’s a possibility all of our children may have to deal with eczema. So I continue looking for natural remedies and products that will help alleviate it. We were introduced to hazelwood necklaces by Severine Stegner of Hazelaid. She is a firm believer in the amazing healing properties of hazelwood products. Her daughter’s severe eczema vanished within two Continue Reading →
