There’s nothing like a good ‘ol holiday movie to help spread holiday cheer. We were sent a review copy of Gotta Catch Santa Claus, which featured William Shatner as the voice of Santa. I popped in the DVD to see if Boogie would be interested in watching. During the movie, I was able to assemble a toy storage unit without him getting in to too much. He grabbed some of the pieces and sat comfortably in his little chair watching the movie. Whenever they got to jammin’, Boogie couldn’t help but to hop out of his seat to join in. While assembling the toy storage, I tried to follow along with the movie. This is what I got out of it.

There’s a tween guy and a girl, Trevor and Veronica. Veronica doesn’t believe in Santa Claus and Trevor is a firm believer. He and his pals go on an adventurous journey to scientifically prove that Santa Claus truly exists. In the midst of it all, a mean ice monster, LaFreeze, is on the loose. He has a 100 year grudge on Santa over a gift he never received (I believe). He is so bitter over this that him and his crew try to freeze Christmas FOREVER. Check out the trailor below.
Gotta Catch Santa Claus is definitely a fun movie to watch. It’s easy to follow and it isn’t painfully long to sit through. After watching this movie, you’ll be stuck singing Gotta Catch Santa Claus and other jolly tunes!
