I am totally digging this stage in Boogie’s life. He’s old enough for hands on learning, so he can do things like color, draw, and play with Play-Doh.
In honor of National Play-Doh Day (September 16th), Miss Brittany’s hooked Boogie up with a Deluxe Gift Set which included three 7 oz containers of Miss Brittany’s Organic Preschool Fun Dough, a 100% organic toddler apron, a wooden rolling pin, and four wooden shaped stampers.
Now you all know that Mr. Boogie has been driving us up the wall lately and this gift from Miss Brittany’s was heaven sent. This has been the only product that was meant for play that he hasn’t walked off from in like two seconds. The first time we gave the Fun Dough a go, it was really soft and sticky. We let him play with it on a sheet of cardboard and the dough stuck to it and the stampers. It was less messy once refrigerated. Miss Brittany’s actually recommends that the Fun Dough be stored in the fridge occasionally to keep it fresh. With the change in temperatures in the house, I decided to leave the Fun Dough in the fridge when not in use.

Miss Brittany’s Organic Preschool Fun Dough is handmade in Chicago of simple ingredients found in the kitchen; filtered water, organic flour, mediterranean sea salt, organic canola oil, kosher cream of tartar, organic vitamin c, and non-toxic USA made liquid watercolor. As expected, Boogie had to give the dough a taste, which was totally fine because not only is it non-toxic, but organic as well.
Although Miss Brittany’s Fun Dough is recommended for children ages two and up, Boogie played with it fine. I’d just suggest either taking the stampers away or watching closely when a younger child is playing with them as they could be a potential choking hazard.
Miss Brittany’s is still offering a 20% discount in celebration of National Play-Doh Day. Enter code NPD09 at checkout to take advantage of this offer. The holidays are ahead, just sayin’
