I love SunChips. French Onion and Peppercorn Ranch are my favorite flavors. When I found out about their efforts to make their bags compostable, that made them *this much* more yummier to me. I mean how clever is that? Now, if only grocery stores would catch on. SunChips has partnered with National Geographic to launch the “Green Effect” – a national initiative where consumers can submit their ideas on how to make their communities green for the chance to win $20,000 to make that green dream a reality. Entries must be in by June 8th, so get to submitting!

In addition SunChips has partnered with us to offer one lucky Mommy Daddy Blog reader an Eco Bag with two bags of SunChips inside! Can I just say I love this Eco Bag? It’s perfect for airport travel. I have one of the Milano string bags and I couldn’t agree more — I LOVE THIS BAG! The long strap is perfect for hauling multiple bags in over your shoulder.

I loveee garden salsa! It’s nice to know you can grab a healthy chip off the rack and know your doing the environment good as well. The bag is really cute! Perfect for my weekly shopping at the Common Market!

I haven’t had a Sun Chips flavor I didn’t like. I wasn’t aware of their efforts go green, and I’m glad they are. Now it’s kind of like a socially responsible thing to buy their snacks, right?

It’s good to see a large company finally taking steps to help eliminate trash. I recycle, reuse, and compost as much as possible and the Sun Chip bags will break down in a few months in my compost pile. I can think of several ways to utilize the Eco bag too. It’d be wonderful at the beach, grocery shopping for fruits and veggies, carrying books, etc. Thanks for a great giveaway!

Thanks! I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for sunchips because in grade school, my science teacher said that they were the best things in the vending machine — he didn’t want us to eat simply empty calories.
