On Jayden’s first birthday, he received a cute little froggie potty. Now, we aren’t training him to the potty yet, but we foresee the process in the near future! Right now we’re just letting him get accustomed to it by letting him play with it. FYI By the time my mother bought my potty, I was using the toilet, so that is why Jayden got his potty early.

To help us as we enter the land of Potty Training, Potty Tots sent us their potty training kit. One for Jayden and even one for my cousin’s daughter, Shelby. I am just blown away by the Potty Tots program and we haven’t even started training yet. Each kit contains a story book, DVD, potty chart, and stickers/clings. Tots and parents can read the story book along while watching the animated DVD. The story book and DVD both teach tots how to master going to the potty by teaching 6 easy steps through The Potty Song, which is sure to drive mom crazy – it’s worth it right? Oh and get this, the Potty Tots are diverse little characters that all children can relate to! As an African American mom, I can defintely appreciate Potty Tots taking other ethnicities in to consideration. When tots are not reading, singing and dancing to Potty Tots lessons, they can use the potty charts and stickers/clings as visual aids when going potty.

Parents and tots can visit pottytots.com to play games and print out coloring pages. Once tots master going to the potty, he/she can join the Potty Tots Crew and print out a personalized diploma! How cool is that? Potty Tots is an amazing program. I’ll be sure to follow up with how it works with Jayden as well as my cousin’s daughter.

It’s such a simple system but it worked better than anything….for the next baby (the one currently gestating) we plan on buying another one when it’s time for potty training. So … this isn’t an entry to win … just wanted everyone to know that I am paying the $20 or whatever for the next kid because it’s worth. every. penny.
