We love products that help make bath time enjoyable for Jayden. We make sure to choose products that will keep his eczema at bay and toys that are exciting for him to play with. Below are Boogie’s bath time favs for eczema relief and fun!

Olive Oil – Adding a cap full of Olive Oil in to Jayden’s bath water helps soften his skin while he soaks in the tub. Sometimes we apply olive oil all over his body after bathing and then follow with raw shea butter. We also use it in his hair as it helps repair split ends, heals dandruff, and adds shine dull strands.

Raw Shea Butter – We butter our boogie up like a little turkey. Although raw shea butter is a bit on the messy side and may not have a glorifying smell, it is rich in nutrients. When refined, it loses much of it’s natural fatty acids which are very beneficial to the skin.

Natural Soaps – We only use soaps that are free of parabens, phthalates, and petrochemicals that will irritate his skin. Handmade soaps from Spa Time Baby work wonderfully on Jayden’s delicate skin. If placing an order at SpaTimeBaby.com, enter the code Cozy at checkout to receive 25% off!

Fun Toys! – Jayden loves splishing and splashing with Boon Bath Goods and Scrubble set. He enjoys throwing them overboard (out of the tub) and I am guilty of playing Splat ring toss and going after the Water Bugs O:-). The spacious Frog Pod houses every single one of these lovely toys so that our bathroom doesn’t look like a play room.

Bath time Books – Books like eebee’s Bath Time Adventure and Quack, Quack, Quack are great for parent-baby interaction during bath time, although Jayden enjoys pretty much just chewing on and tossing the books about in the water!

Organic Baby Hair Care – It’s A Curl – Organic Baby Curl Care is formulated for African American and biracial babies with curls. Peek-a-Boo Tearless Shampoo, Patty Cake Conditioner, Ring Around the Curlies Leave In Cre’me transforms Boogie’s little poof in to a nice sleek look. If placing an order, let Curls.biz know that I sent you by entering referral code REF-B77ANLA0 at checkout

Well, my little one isn’t due for a couple of months yet… but he/she sure does love kicking while Mom’s in the shower! I have a feeling I’m in for some very active bathing sessions in a few months. This little one’s a waterbaby just like mom and dad!
we love playing in the bath at our house
We make lots of bubbles together
We like to toss a little ball back and forth to one another. That’s always fun for both of us.
Drawing on the tiles with washable crayons.
Thanks for the giveaway!

My kids just like to make as big a mess as possible splashing around.
My kids love to sing songs during bath time which allows me to focus on the task at hand.
We have tea parties on the side of the tub. The girls love it.
We play with a tea set and pour water and tea for each other. Rachel loves that!
My first little one isn’t here yet (he’s due in less than a week!) but we already have a special “bathtime” together. In the mornings when I wake up he is very still and still sleeping, I guess. But when I get in to the shower he always wakes up. It’s so much fun feeling his first stretches of the day!
Thanks for the great giveaway!

Well, first, I’m psyched about the giveaway (lookit me, squeakin’ it at the last minute, teehee), so here’s my story of bathtime fun.
We have twins, a boy and a girl. They’re three. I’m really interested in your post above becauase we struggle w/the boy’s exema, too! Nice to know there are others out there. Anyway, three year old twin bathtime includes the following:
1. splashing
2. screaming
3. fighting over toys
4. splashing mommy
5. splashing daddy
6. splashing each other
7. screaming
8. arguing over what shampoo to use
9. splashing
10. splashing
Oh the joys.
My daughter likes to use a plastic tea set so that we can have a little tea party in the tub!

My daughter and I like to sing together at bath time! My son hates the bath lol, so we get it done as soon as possible! Thanks for the chance!

My grandson likes to play with different containers, especially empty dish soap containers that fill up the tub with soap bubbles.
Since she’s brand new our favorite thing is me holding her in her towel until she stops crying lol.
We search for hidden toys in the bubbles and bath water like a scavenger hunt! Thanks!

The bath is the perfect place to blow bubbles in the house (who cares if they spill them!), Ialso will read to them while they are in the tub. I did it one time and they ask me to read now while they are in there.
My baby twins aren’t old enough for much activity in the bath, yet, but we do enjoy our infant massage time. The boys are so loose and relaxed after their bath & massage that they sleep much better.

Bathtime with 2 little one needless to say it nothing but fun…out tub is big enough that me and my 3 and 2 year old get in with massive amounts of bubbles, and all the play teaset and toys we can fit, they have a ball, we splash , they like to stay in till they turn ito prunes…finally with the help of another sibling or my husband we can get them out, but it is not easy, I think they would stay all day if we let them…Also the love to wash my hair…it is LONG..of course I have to re-wash when we are done, but for the qualitly time , I am happy to do it, it is times like these you can never get back, and when they get too old you cant do it anymore so enjoy your babies while you can …they grow FAST…TOO FAST

We like to try to float the toys in the water and then sink them by pouring water on them.
Music and splashing! Everybody and everything gets wet! Fun
we goof off at bath time- blow bubbles, pour water all over, & pretend we’re cleaning the tub with the washcloth.
right now we just splash…a little too early for much else.
We love splashing each other. She’s 2 and sometimes mommy needs a bath as well. So we get in together some of the time and splash each other. My daughter also has eczema and she only gets 1 bath a week because her skin gets so dry. I need to try the olive oil trick. THANK YOU!
I usually sit on the side of the bath while my daughter slpashes and chases the toys she has. Once she gets over the original excitement, she starts offering her toys to me – she chews a little, then I’m supposed to chew and then she chews and we go on and on and on.

My daughter loves her wind up fish in the bath. It is her daddy time because he gets home from work and bathes her before bed.
My kids love to splash water and wants to learn themselves from me how to put soap. They laugh and enjoy when I splash on them. For them, bath tub is a little swimmer and love to swim with one feet of wate in the tub. We play hide and seek.

My daughter is 7 months old and is starting to really enjoy splashing and playing with the bath toys.
Splashing is still the favorite activity, but my twins are starting to enjoy “watering” each other with a toy watering can.
My little guy gets a big kick out of having his rubber duck submerged and then seeing it pop up out of the water. Thanks for the giveaway.
My baby is only 6 months but she loves to splash and loves it when I splash water on her tummy!
If it’s a bubble bath, we like to make bubble beards and hair!

My daughter loves to play with the soap, so we make a little game out of washing (now, wash your feet!, etc). It get’s her clean & helps her identify!
My son has pretty long hair and we love to spike it up with the soap! The hard part is him never wanting to rinse it out : )
We love to play “coffee shop” while taking a bath and practicing letters with the foam bath letters
We love to draw pictures with our bathtub crayons that are thankfully pretty easy to clean up!
Here’s my tweet: http://twitter.com/prizealert/status/1571112530
Simple & sweet: my son and I love splashing each other in the bathtub. He chortles with glee.
When I bathe Mya we play fill ‘er up to teach counting. I give her 10 different containers and we count how many cups of water it takes to fill each container. It’s fun but our bathroom floor gets a little messy.
I blogged this. Mya has eczema too as does her daddy. does the olive oil leave Jayden too oily?

we love to paint in the tub!! We also play “splash games” often!
I don’t get to bathe the little ones too often. When I do get the chance to bathe my little niece, we sing a song about the duck quaking, and the frog jumping. Of course we use the rubber duckie and her little frog to play along with us.
Thanks for the great giveaway, the Boon Toys look great.

My sons have finally decided that they like taking a bath together which is easier when Daddy’s out of town but I digress. The younger one is happy to watch his brother get washed and thinks it’s funny when they have sudsy hair (he touches his brother’s head in amazement!) and they play with the Elmo boat and Ernie submarine that they have. Luckily no bath fights yet.

thanks for the tips on the Olive oil and wash. All three of my children suffer from terrible eczema and Although I’ve heard this before about the olive oil I never heard of anyone who used it. I’m going to give it a try. Anything worth it if it helps. It breaks my heart to see them so itchy and their skin so rashy.
My boys and I play car wash. We have a great fisher price car wash that has a shower that lets you rinse off the cars after they have been washed by the boys with bubble hands. They love it and giggle as we sing the car wash song and count the cars as they are done.
