this until I can muster up the time and energy to defend myself… she summed it up best. I’m thankful for her post.

You should not feel the need to defend yourself. You have done nothing wrong and your loyal followers know better, as do the people who truly matter. Hang in there, things will pass over before you know it…. and they (CBS) will be blown out of the water for their bogus story!

By the way- you looked fab, as did that adorable little man of yours!

That was a pretty vicious attack, but not only on you, on the readers, too. She made it sound like we’re some sort of mindless group just following whatever’s written. Well sure you can get money to get the word out about something, but that’s the same as having an ad on your page (like CBS has) and it doesn’t mean that we’re going to run out and buy something just cause it’s there.

And btw, my favorite part of your blog is seeing how you do such a wonderful job keeping your family together and raising your adorable little guy!

Virtual hug, if such a thing exists. If it doesn’t lets create one and market it!

Hmmm…I tried to comment and it didn’t show up? I’m glad you found my story. It really upset me the way they set you up.

Fwiw, I think you and your sweet little one were great, it’s just the story had a wicked angle. Keep your chin up…you have a great blog:)

Here from Cindy’s blog to say that there is NOTHING wrong with reviewing online. I can only imagine how much editing they did to break an entire interview down into the small segments they put out.

At least it’s publicity, right? If it gets even a few new readers to see that you have some cool giveaways available, then maybe it’s worth it…

Actually the first episode made me so mad that I sent CBS an email and then she called me. Now, this was before Part II came out and I just let her know what I thought about Part I. Why is everyone so quick to attack bloggers who are moms? Why does the media always twist things to make mom bloggers evil? I was just over it and I let her know.

Hang in there girl, you rock!

I guess im lost,im assuming from what I read that there is a tv scgment somewhere in which they took out of context what you said, ive not been doing this very long, but long enought to know that ive found you to be nothing but honest an straight forward with us,you have a beautiful family an the people who follow your site know what is the truth an whats not,i would be glad to file a compaint if theres a link somehwere to do so,then maybe the tv station will do a redo, who knows but some people would find fault anywhere to anyone if they are looking just for that

Keep your head up girl and don’t let them get to you. don’t feel that you need to respond back. It’s there way of manipulating the information. Remember the MJ interview a couple of years back…

Just wanted to say I heart your blog! Really, I’m sorry you’re upset about the story but I don’t think they made you look bad… I mean, who cares if you sometimes get money for reviewing a product? So what? I think the topic of product reviews and “mommy blogging” is just too broad to try to do a quick story on… Hmmm, maybe i should make a documentary! haha!

Keep your chin up though girl, cause really, I thought you did a great job!

PS: I still want your baby!
