Prematurity Awareness Month

November is Prematurity Awareness Month and the March of Dimes Foundation is helping to spread the awareness of premature birth. There are two ways that you can help:

1. Make a donation to the March of Dimes, which enables them to continue their vital research, education, community services, and advocacy programs. Their goal is to raise $5,430. The significance of this amount is that there are 543,000 babies born prematurely every year in the United States, so they would like to raise one cent for each of those babies.

2. Sign the Petition For Preemies. By signing, you are helping to urge Congress and the President to make progress for preemies. The goal is to reach 543,000 signatures, one for each baby born prematurely in the United States.
