Growing up, building castles with playing cards and houses with LEGO blocks would keep me occupied for hours and hours at a time. I absolutely loved building. I remember seeing the K’Nex commercials on tv and wanting a set of my own. For whatever reason I never asked for one. One of the joys of being a parent is being able to re-live your childhood through your children and you better believe I’m going to take full advantage!
I’m super excited about the Sesame Street building sets introduced by Kid K’Nex and Sesame Workshop. The Sesame Street building sets are specifically designed for children 2-5 years of age. They support hand-eye coordination, encourage imaginative play, thinking, and problem-solving. The pieces are larger than original K’Nex sets which are perfect for developing little hands. They are also much easier to keep up with and are less likely to get swallowed by younger siblings.

And in case you’re wondering what we’re going to do with Cookie Monster, we’re going to be donating him to Toys For Tots
