Family Walks, Why Didn’t I Think Of That?

There’s a jogging/walking trail which runs behind our apartment complex. It is completely out in the open. Daddy thought it would be a good idea to walk it as a family each morning (I don’t know how long that will last). We’d be spending time together getting a little exercise and fresh air. Why didn’t I think of that? Impressed, I am.

So far we’ve walked the trail once last week on our way to Family Dollar. Our house is still a mess so there’s our excuse. Oh how I’ve missed Family Dollar. My mother and I used to raid that store frequently before I left the nest. There are a few home accents, trinkets and things that I want. As soon as I find some extra money (the kind that falls from the sky), I’ll be racking up!

Our latest diaper bag, the DadGear messenger. We decided to retire the pink one, although Daddy didn’t mind carrying it, isn’t that right?

   Yes family walks are the best! William loves it and he has a fondness for trees! If he gets fussy we just take hin outside and let him stare at a tree. He has conversations with it! Jay, I wanna pinch those legs!!!

   I can’t believe how big he’s getting!!! We’ll I can but time is just flying by and he gets cuter by the minute.

   We used to do family walks every morning after Lyric was born, for some reason, we didn’t continue and it didn’t last long, so keep it up!! lol hopefully you can last longer than we did.

   He is so sweet and special. DJ loves walks. When he was a baby, he would fall asleep before we hit the end of the block
