Today’s Flashback Friday features a picture of Daddy and I last 4th of July. We took this picture during a fireworks show. The streaks you see in the picture are due to said fireworks. Today I’m being a bum. I’m wearing the SAME shirt again!

Well, we were going to have fun at the in laws house today but it is raining and lightning so we are just staying in. Everyone went there own way today. Still, it has been a nice, peaceful day.

Hello! My dad is turning 90 years young on July 12th. He is a veteran of WWII. He was drafted into the Navy. We took him to breakfast and listened to his WWII stories. They never get old!
We spent our day just enjoying the family time and wonderful weather here. Thanks, Cindi

Cute photo. We went to Sea World tonight for the fireworks. They had a 20 minute display set to music and it was great. This was our third year going and once again it took us over an hour just to get out of the parking lot to go home! Totally worth it though and both kiddos had a blast!

We celebrated spending the weekend with my parent in TX. Didn’t do anything except play games and eat. It was great!

Great photo of you guys! Hard to imagine not having Boogie in the picture huh?? We celebrated the 4th in the best way, with lots of food, family, and LOVE! We had funky rainy weather but that did not stop the festivities. We ended the night with fireworks. I always wonder who has more fun with that, the kids or the adults??! It was another fantastic 4th and we can’t wait to do it again next year! Enjoy the rest of your time in Chicago!

What a great picture!! I love the fireworks “effect”!

We stayed at home this year, had steak for lunch and spinach/artichoke dip for supper. Along with my famous Dirt Cake that my 8 year old LOVES!! The baby didn’t stay up for fireworks, they freaked her out. We bought lots of fireworks for our son, and he had a blast putting on a firework show for us. All in all, a very relaxing day!

We were going to watch Fireworks last night but it rained all day and night, so we watch them tonight. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

We went to the towns festivities. The kids raced, went on pony rides, moon bounce, train rides, etc. Today we had a picnic at our house for friends and their kids.

We celebrated with a family cook-out and then we watched the fireworks from our deck. Rylee (19 months) got scared by the noise, so we went inside and watched. She was okay with that and enjoyed the pretty colors.
