Don’t Let Them Slip, Get A Grip!

Last night we gave Jayden a bath. He did really good, but of course he still cannot take a bath without throwing a fit somewhere in between. Because of this, we make bath time as quick as possible. When he throws his fits, he gets to kicking and squirming. That on top of being wet isn’t such a good combo for parents who don’t want to drop him! So, this time around I used our No Slip Charlie gloves to bathe him, while Daddy stood on the sideline as my assistant. The No Slip Charlie is a pair of fingerless gloves designed to improve the grip on a wet, slippery baby during a bath. Made of soft poly/lycra fabric, No Slip Charlie provides the extra grip that I need without any discomfort for me or Jayden.

When my son was 3 months old, I was so scared of how to handle him when I’m bathing him. I was practically clueless about everything that involves about taking care of the baby.
I’d like to have No Slip Charlie on our second baby.
Thanks for sharing.
P.S. Jayden is simply adorable!

The should have these in the delivery room also. My 2nd oldest slipped out of the Dr.’s hands during childbirth, but she caught him with other hand! Way scary! Btw, thanks for following me on twitter

Oh wow, I love that product! I am always afraid of having William slip out of my hands with his big slippery self. I hope Jayden will eventually love bath time. We are the opposite, the fit comes before the bath and the moment he gets into the water, he’s happy and smiling. Jayden is getting to be a chunky little man! I love those rolls!!!

What will they come up with next? That is a brilliant idea, wish I had one when my little ones were newborns. They can be the slipperiest things when wet…LOL!

Wow-Now that is a very good idea. Why didn’t I think of that? Babies are so slippery during a bath and those gloves are the answer. Great find!

WOW! What a great idea! I can’t count how many times I almost lost grip on the girls, especially when showering with them. It was so scary, these would have been wonderful.

We could have used those too. There is nothing so scary as almost dropping your baby.
BTW: I just never get tired of Jayden’s pictures, man he is adorable.
I wish I were half as photogenic.
