I Surrender To Mommyhood!

If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to Mommy Daddy Blog. We wouldn’t want you to miss out on our updates or giveaways ;-)! Thanks for visiting!

Juggling Mom

I surrender! The above photo best describes what’s going on right now, only I’m getting a little less laptop than the mommy above. I feel bad for being MIA. I’m working on it. I’m trying my hardest not to be a victim of mommy break downs and the “baby blues”, but I’ve failed already. I know it’s normal, all I need is some time and all will be well. I’m just not digging being all hormonal. Next week we’ll be taking a trip to see family so that should help.

I just wanted to come out from hiding in the cave. I promise I’ll write about labor and our stay at the hospital soon :-)

Don’t be sorry for becoming MIA. You’re a new mama, you need time to relax and adjust. Keep your chin up- things do get better. =)

Awwwww it does get better! Promise. Even though Jayden hasn’t been here that long you still need some “me” time. I’m sure Daddy is helping out plenty, so no need to even go there. Just take each day as they come and relax. relate. release.

You’ll find a balance soon. It may not be as soon as you’d like, but it will come about. Visiting family and having other’s to help you will help A LOT. Baby Blues are normal, they stink tho. Just remember to talk to your dr if they get too bad for you to handle.

Take the time to enjoy Jayden, they grow up so fast right before your eyes and you’ll wish that he was that small again. Don’t worry about us, take care of yourself and that little one.

    Aww Sheena,
You have not failed at anything.Just take your time. Rest when you need to , eat when you need to, blog when you want to and enjoy Jayden. We miss you but we understand. There is no need to try to do everything all at once. If you don’t feel like cooking or cleaning, don’t. Your health and Jayden are the most important things right now. Like Gina says, you will wish that he was that small again. Time goes by so fast with kids. Just remember any emotions you feel are normal and it is okay. And if you ever need to talk or rant, we are here for you :)

You’ve got to surrender because you won’t win if you try to fight it. Take as much time as you need we’ll be here and it’s a blessing that you have your hubby that’s keeping things going.

TRUST ME — I totally understand where you are coming from! (Remember…I just went through it)! And it DOES get easier to balance things, and thankfully, the baby blues do go away. I know I thought I would never get the baby blues, but I think most everyone does, so no worries. I know you’ll be back at blogging soon enough. Just take whatever time you need!

Patiently waiting for your baby blues blog. ( Picture me whistling whilst sweep and looking at nothing in particular. :) )
I know you guys are ( or were) visiting family this week so I hope all is well and you two are getting enough rest. :)
But I can’t wait too see the next batch of Jayden pictures, they change and grow so fast. :) )
