Personally I’m not a fan of the Kid’s Bop commercials that are played on TV, I find them annoying. But when I found out about Baby Jamz, I was all kinds of giddy! Baby Jamz, founded by Matthew and Solange Knowles, is the first EVER Hip Hop/Rhythm inspired toy line for babies and preschool children. It’s nice to have something different from traditional toys!
Baby Jamz CD - Nursery Rhymes Volume 1
In Nursery Rhymes Volume 1, Solange Knowles and friends add a Hip Hop and R&B twist to nursery rhyme favorites. We will definitely be bumping this CD in the future minivan, lol! I was teasing Daddy about playing the CD in the car. People will be thinking that we’re listening to the latest Hip Hop and R&B, until Daddy gets out of the car to pump gas and everyone hears *Twiiiiinkle twiiiiinkle liiittle staaaaaaaaar*! I played the CD for my cousin’s son (2 years) and daughter (16 months) and they danced and even sang along to the songs!
Baby Jamz Jingle n’ Jam Key Chain
These little keys play clips from the Baby Jamz CD - Nursery Rhymes Volume 1 and the sound of a revving engine. The volume level is really low though, so the the Baby Jamz clips and revving engine sound can just barely be heard. I just think that they could be a tad bit louder. I can’t believe I just said that. You’d think a parent would want toys to be as silent as possible! I’m pretty sure the low volume issue will be addressed in later versions of Baby Jamz Jingle n’ Jam Key Chain. Sound or not, kids love colorful keys!
Baby Jamz products are currently only available at Walmart. I’m assuming that in the future they will expand to other stores. After all, it could help get these awesome toys in the hands of more babies and tots who love to jam!

OK, my daughter is over here dancing and singing along. She’s doing ballet . (She ballet dances to everything. Lol.) I know some people don’t like the traditional versions and I’d much rather hear kids singing this than some “ay bay-bay” or something else inappropriate for kids.
The volume on that engine thing is most likely low because they don’t want the sound to damage the kids’ hearing. I recall there was some issue with the volume being too loud on kids’ toys some years back.
Now that I listened to that I think it’s only fair that you check out this parody : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5R8gSgedh4

The baby is probably jamming and rock n’ rollin’ inside Little momma…lol
Rock N Roll will always live!!
It looks like an interesting toy, I haven’t seen this before.
