I Dream of Jayden

There he was, all snug in his blankets, with a face so precious, it made my heart smile. There he was, lighting up the whole room with his glistening eyes. There he was, murmuring his very first sounds of life. There he was, my son! My very first child! I could not describe the feeling I felt. The moment was so beautiful! I was so happy! My eyes were tearfully gleaming with joy! He was my son, Jayden!
Immediately I wanted to share my son with the world! I wanted everyone to experience what I was feeling. I took him to work with me and showed him off to my co-workers. I took him to class with me and showed him off to all my classmates. Everyone was happy! Everyone was delighted! My son lit up every single room in which he laid presence in. He was perfect! I loved him more than I could ever love. I smiled at him. He smiled back at me. And then…
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* !!!!!!!!!!
What the…?
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
My eyes slowly opened as I reached over and slammed the snooze button. And that’s when I realized, it was all a dream!
Hurry up and get here son, Daddy’s waiting on ya!

This was too sweet. I think every woman out there will agree with me when they say they hope their husbands are this excited when they’re expecting.

I dreamt about both of my babies before they were born too. In one way it’s lovely, but in another it just makes the wait worse!
Good luck with becoming parents for the first time - it feels like the day will never arrive then the days go by far too quickly so make the most of it!
