What To Expect When You’re Expecting 3rd Ed. | Mommy Daddy Blog

I’m currently reading What to Expect When You’re Expecting. It was a Christmas gift from Daddy’s mom. She read this same book when she was pregnant with him. Since then it has become much thicker and 1.2 million copies have been sold.

I'm impressed that you have already figured out how to read these kind of books selectively. It wasn't until my first son was a year old that I finally learned to relax and stop feeling guilty about not doing every little thing that every book said I should be doing. Books and advice are great, but should be used as resources--not absolute law.

I read this book with my wee ones, but my favorite pregnancy book was "Your Pregnancy Week By Week" I recommend it to everyone, if only for the cool pencil drawings of the developing fetus.
