I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and had a wonderful past year in 2007! It’s now officially 2008, a time to look forward to a new year that will bring about new things. This year, there is one new thing that I am definitely looking forward to; the birth of my first child, Jayden!
At the beginning of each year, just as many other people do, I give myself goals that I wish to achieve by the year’s end. Some goals I meet, some I don’t. The ones that I don’t, I usually carry over into the next year and work much harder to meet them. This year will bring about new goals for me since this year will be my first as a father. This year, I would like to make my son’s very first months of life a wonderful experience. This year, I would like to give all my love to Jayden, and show him that he has been born into a family that will do no less than love him for all of his life. This year, I would like to become the very best father that I can be.
So, how about you? Whether you’re already a mom or dad, or will be a mom or dad soon, I would like to know, what are your goals as a parent for the year 2008?

Happy New Year! : Mommy Daddy Blog
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and had a wonderful past year in 2007! It’s now officially 2008, a time to look forward to a new year that will bring about new things. This year, there is one new thing that I am definitely looking forward to; …
I’m not expecting to have children anytime soon, but I just wanted to say that this is the sweetest entry ever. Jayden is so blessed already. I read a lot of blogs online written by expectant mothers, but to read that from an expectant father is so special!!! You guys are going to be awesome parents. I wish all three of you great blessings for this new year. You have a really special one, Sheena. LOL.
My goal as a parent for 2008 is to give my children 100% of my effort and care. Being mediocre isn’t a bad thing… except when kids are involved!
I agree with Miracle! What a great dad. Well, I don’t have any children yet either, but I am a newlywed. So, one of my goals this year is to have a loving relationship with my husband and build a foundation of trust and love for our future family.
So far my new year sucked, and the new year has sucked. I have asthmatic (sp) bronchitis and my fiance is starting the year with the resolution of being a crank ass every day! weee…
i just want to spend time, quality time with my baby.
*time* is the one thing you can never get back
the past few months of my life have been so hectic. i want to be able to step away from all the stress, and just feel so free in her presence.
just trying to slow things down, and appreciate what’s most important in my life.
